Retrofit Screen - AN82.60-P-0013-02GQ

MODEL 166 

with CODE 866 (Pre-installation for Rear Seat Entertainment System) 

1. Position template (1), as shown, on backrest.
2. Mark cutting area (2) on backrest cover.
3. Remove template (1).
4. Cut backrest cover and foam material of backrest at front along cutting line (2).

   Be very careful when cutting.

   Otherwise the backrest cover may be damaged in what will later be the visible area.

5. Unhook flap (11) from backrest cover on front seat backrest frame.
6. Guide 8-pin connectors (12) through cutout in backrest cover.

   The 8-pin connectors (12) are fixed in place with duct tape on the front seat backrest frame.

7. Position screen bracket (13) together with reinforcement (14) on the front seat backrest frame.

   Carefully guide screen bracket (13) together with reinforcement (14) through backrest cover (16).

   Otherwise the backrest cover (16) may be damaged in what will later be the visible area.

8. Screw in screws/bolts (15).
9. Slip flap of backrest cover (16), created when the backrest cover (16) was cut, inwards.
10. Secure left rear display (A40/5) or right rear display (A40/6) using screws/bolts (17) to screen bracket (13).
11. Connect 8-pin connectors (12) to left rear display (A40/5) or right rear display (A40/6).
12. Install cover (18).
13. Hook in flap of backrest cover at front seat backrest frame again.
