8	Fold over rear floor covering toward front
9	In the EPC in design group 99, check whether the rear control unit installed in accordance with the vehicle equipment can be used for retrofitting the illuminated door sill moldings	If the rear control unit has to be removed, then this is no longer required. With compatible rear control unit: ↓ Expose rear control unit until electrical connectors are accessible. With incompatible rear control unit: ↓ Remove rear control unit.	AR54.21-P-2009GQ

16	Connect diagnostic system and select vehicle via the vehicle identification number (VIN)		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
17	Carry out variant coding using software calibration number (SCN)	Rear control unit

	Check
19	Check function of left front illuminated door sill molding (E17/47) and right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48)	By opening the front doors, the left front illuminated door sill molding (E17/47) and right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48) are activated.
