Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge

Install cover (10.1) on stowage compartment (10).
Drill hole (arrow C) with Ø 6 mm.
The hole must be drilled through the stowage compartment (10) and the cover (10.1).
Remove cover (10.1) from stowage compartment (10).
Make cutout (arrow D) in cover (10.1) in area where hole was previously drilled.
Make cutout (arrow E) in stowage compartment (10) in area where hole was previously drilled (broken line).
Insert stowage compartment (10) into center console.
Guide electrical wiring harness (5) into stowage compartment (10).
The electrical wiring harness (5) was already routed from the tuner unit to the center console.
Reconnect the connections that were separated when removing the cover (10.1).
Insert cover (10.1) into stowage compartment (10), positioning the electrical wiring harness (5) in the cutouts already created.
Connect blue 1-pin plug (5.2) to CA module card reader for TV tuner (1).
Secure CA module card reader for TV tuner (1) with Velcro strip (3).
