Connection scheme
- Mark holes for Bluetooth® module holder and cable duct on center console (7).
a= 17 mm b= 94 mm c= 60 mm d= 90 mm
- Drill Ø 4 mm holes.
- Drill lower hole (arrow A) to Ø 10 mm.
Rework lower hole (arrow A) so that the black 4-pin connectors (3.2, 9.2) can be routed through.
- Unclip USB electrical connector (X115) from cover (15).
- Disconnect black 4-pin connector (9.2) of adapter wiring harness (9) from Bluetooth® module (A34/7).
The adapter wiring harness (9) is connected again at a later stage.
- Connect black 4-pin plug (3.1) of wiring harness (3) to black 4-pin connector (9.2) of adapter wiring harness (9).
- Unclip retainer (4.2) from violet connector housing (4.1) and remove 1-pin plug contact from violet connector housing (4.1).
The violet 1-pin connector (4) of the Bluetooth® module antenna line holder (2) is assembled again at a later stage.
- Connect white 4-pin connector (9.1) of adapter wiring harness (9) with white 4-pin plug (11) of vehicle wiring harness (13) and slip foam material over it.
- Connect violet 1-pin plug (8) of Bluetooth® module antenna line holder (2) with violet 1-pin connector (10) of vehicle wiring harness (13) and pull foam material over it.
- Route black 4-pin connector (3.2) and the 1-pin plug contact removed from the violet connector housing through the previously made hole (arrow) in the stowage compartment (7).
- Assemble violet 1-pin connector (4) again; to do so, install the 1-pin plug contact into the violet connector housing and lock in place with the locking clip.
- Clip USB electrical connector (X115) into new cover (15) and place new cover (15) into stowage compartment (7).
- Connect white connector (14.1) to USB electrical connector (X115).

Clip Media Interface electrical connector (X18/70) into new cover (15).

Clip AUX connection electrical connector into new cover (15).
- Hook new cover (15) into center console and fix in place using screws/bolts (15.1).
- Place rubber insert into stowage compartment.
- Route Bluetooth® module antenna line holder (2) and the wiring harness (3) through the opening (arrow) on the Bluetooth® module holder (1).
- Connect black 4-pin connector (3.2) to Bluetooth® module (A34/7).
- Connect violet 1-pin connector (4) to violet 1-pin plug (5).
- Tighten Bluetooth® module (A34/7) on Bluetooth® module holder (1) using screw/bolt (17).
- Fix Bluetooth® module antenna line holder (2) and wiring harness (3) in place using felt tape (18).
- Route Bluetooth® module bracket antenna line (2) and the wiring harness (3) into guide (arrow) of Bluetooth® module bracket (1).
- Position Bluetooth® module bracket (1) with screws/bolts (19) in stowage compartment (7) at the holes (Ø 4 mm) previously drilled and tighten.
- Slide Bluetooth® module antenna line holder (2) and wiring harness (3) as far as possible into the center console through the hole (Ø 10 mm), and fix in place using felt tape (70 mm x 40 mm).
