The following operation steps describe installation in a left-hand drive vehicle. The work procedure may differ for right-hand drive vehicles.

1. Engage COMAND fan motor (M4/13) in air duct (1) and tighten with screw/bolt (3).
2. Connect white 4-pin connector (4) with white 4-pin plug (5).

   This creates the electrical connector for the radio fan (X120).

3. Mount filter (6) onto COMAND fan motor (M4/13) and latch into place in counterclockwise direction.
