| 1 | Connect diagnostic system and save basic data from rain/light sensor (4) | Only when replacing the rain/light sensor (4). | |

| Remove/install | |||
| 2 | Switch on ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m) | ||
| 3 | Push outer cover (1) out of bracket towards front of vehicle and unclip | ||
| 4 | Squeeze catch tabs (3) together and unclip inner cover (2) from outer cover (1) in direction of arrow (A) | ||
| 5 | Remove outer cover (1) | ||
| 6 | Disconnect electrical connect from inner cover (2) and remove inner cover (2) | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connector from rain/light sensor (4) | ||
| 8 | Push clip of rain/light sensor (5) upwards at the arrows (B) and unclip using assembly wedge | Figure | |
| 9 | Remove rain/light sensor (4) | ||
| 10 | Install in the reverse order | ||
