Install Illuminated Door Sill - AN82.20-P-0001-04GQ

MODEL 166.0/8 

The work procedure is shown on the right side of the vehicle and must be performed in the same fashion on the left side of the vehicle.

1. Clean contact surface in area (A) with cleaner.

   The area to be glued must be free of dust and grease.

2. Beginning at the extractor (4), remove protective foil of adhesive strips from right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48).
3. Align right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48) to longitudinal member (13) and secure.

   When installing the right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48) make sure that the electrical line (6) is not twisted or pinched.

4. Route electrical line (6) over longitudinal member and fix in place using felt tape (7) as shown.

   The 2-pin plug (5.2) will be connected at a later stage.
