| 5 | Detach ground line (8) from backrest at front (1) | ||
| 6 | Detach driver seat control unit (11) from bracket and pull forward slightly | Model 166, 292 with code 399 (Multicontour front seats with massage function) |

| 7 | Detach lower hose (12) from driver seat control unit (11) | Model 166, 292 with code 399 (Multicontour front seats with massage function) |
|
| 8 | Detach hose (13) from control unit for front multicontour seat with massage function (15) | Model 166, 292 with code 399 (Multicontour front seats with massage function) |
|
| 9 | Pull control unit for front multicontour seat with massage function (15) slightly upward and detach hose (14) | Model 166, 292 with code 399 (Multicontour front seats with massage function) |

| 10 | Disconnect electrical connector from sidebag and electrical lines (7) from front backrest (1) and remove | ||
| 11 | Unclip electrical wiring harness (5) from front backrest (1) | ||
| 12 | Remove cover (10) in area of electrical wiring harness (5) and place electrical wiring harness (5) to one side | ||
| 13 | Remove bolts (3) | *BA91.10-P-1002-01L | |
| 14 | Remove front backrest (1) | ||
| 15 | Install in the reverse order |
