Location 

The pedestrian protection sensors are found in the front bumper to the left and right.

Task 

The pedestrian protection sensors are connected to each other via a hose. They record the pressure in this hose. The pressure increases e.g. when the bumper is pressed in. The SRS control unit (N2/10) evaluates the data of the pedestrian protection sensors.
