The air suspension control unit is located on the front left in the vehicle behind the bumper.

Task 

The air suspension control unit is the central control unit for the functions of the suspension.

The air suspension control unit primarily intervenes in the following functions:

• Level control
• Wake-up mode
• Air suspension
• Electrohydraulic suspension
• Raise/lower rear end
• Active lean-over in bends
• Recovery mode
• Individual wheel control

To execute these functions, the air suspension control unit primarily processes the following input factors:

• Vehicle level
• Body acceleration
• Lateral acceleration
• Vehicle speed
• Ambient air temperature

The air suspension control unit processes these input factors and primarily transmits the following actuations:

• Air suspensions
• Damping valve unit
• Electrohydraulic controller unit
