	Notes on threaded connections fastened using a tightening angle-based tightening process		AH00.00-P-0020-01A

	Remove
1	Remove wheel carrier (5).	Model 205 (except 205.386/387/486/487)
		Model 253 (except 253.388/389/988/989) Model 293	AR35.20-P-0115LW

		Model 253.388/389/988/989	AR35.20-P-0115LWX
2	Unscrew screws (4) and remove angular-contact ball bearing (2) with rear axle shaft flange (1) from wheel carrier (5).
	Clean
3	Clean water drain in wheel carrier (5).		AR35.20-P-0115-03CW
4	Clean contact surface on wheel carrier (5).
	Install
5	Press new angular-contact ball bearing (2) onto new rear axle shaft flange (1) up to end stop using stamp (3).	When replacing the angular contact ball bearing (2). The stamp (3) must be fitted flat to the inner bearing shell (arrow) of the angular contact ball bearing (2). Otherwise damage will occur. Replace rear axle shaft flange (1) as well. 6	Insert angular-contact ball bearing (2) with rear axle shaft flange (1) into wheel carrier (5).
7	Screw in screws/bolts (4).	Screw in screws (4) in a crosswise pattern.

8	Install wheel carrier (5).	Model 205 (except 205.386/387/486/487)
