Drain/Fill Low-Temperature Circuit Coolant - AR09.41-P-6834MNG

WARNING Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant. Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the pressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove engine compartment paneling   AR61.20-P-1105LW
  Drain off     
2 Remove the cap at the low-temperature circuit expansion tank   AR09.41-P-0050MNG 
3 Remove coolant hose (20) on low-temperature circuit circulation pump 1 (M43/6) and drain off coolant into suitable container   AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
4 To do this, remove coolant hose (21) from low-temperature circuit cooler and drain off coolant into suitable container   AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
5 Remove coolant hoses (22, 23) from oil cooler and drain off coolant into suitable container   AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
6 Attach coolant hose (20) to low-temperature circuit circulation pump 1 (M43/6)   AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
7 Attach coolant hose (21) to low-temperature circuit cooler   AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
8 Attach coolant hoses (22, 23) to oil cooler   AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ
  Pour in     
9 Pour in clean coolant and bleed low-temperature circuit engine cooling system   AR20.00-P-1142-04A
    FLUID SPECIFICATION Filling capacity for coolant *BF20.00-P-1001-02LA 
    FLUID SPECIFICATION Coolant mixing ratio *BF20.00-P-1001-04A 
    CANADA ONLY Electric vacuum pump Fig 3
    SPECIAL TOOL NTKL Adaption Fig 1
    SPECIAL TOOL Cooler vacuum filling device Fig 4
    SPECIAL TOOL Test cap Fig 2
INSPECT Check     
10 Check low-temperature circuit cooling system for leaktightness   AR09.41-P-1011MNG 
REMOVING Install     
11 Install lower engine compartment paneling   AR61.20-P-1105LW
