| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Reduce vacuum in brake booster by depressing brake pedal several times. | ||
| 2 | Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter housing | ||
| 3 | Remove upper engine cover | ||
| 4 | Release vacuum line (3) on vacuum pump (1) and take off | ||
| 5 | Release and disconnect electrical connection (4) | ||
| 6 | Remove screw/bolts (2) | *BA43.05-P-1006-01K | |
| 7 | Remove vacuum pump (1) together with bracket | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 9 | Reset runtime status of vacuum pump (1) using diagnostic system | When replacing vacuum pump (1). | |
