| 1 | Perform initial startup of electric parking brake control unit (N128) | When replacing electric parking brake control unit (N128). | |

| 2 | Fold over load compartment floor rear section | ||
| 3 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m) | ||
| 4 | Lift up control unit for electric parking brake (N128) far enough to gain access to electrical connector (1) | ||
| 5 | Release electrical connector (1), disconnect and remove control unit for electric parking brake (N128) | ||
| 6 | Install in the reverse order |
