1. Clamp differential in vise.
2. Check friction torque using torque meter and drift on differential side gear on ring gear side.
3. Check friction torque using torque meter and drift on differential side gear on differential housing side.

   In the event of a deviation of the permissible friction torque, the friction torque can be adjusted by inserting different thickness pressure plates in the differential.
