Tighten inner slotted nut (13) to specified torque using claw wrench . While tightening, continuously turn the wheel hub (9) at least 3 times; and while doing so, tap the wheel hub (9) with a rubber hammer in a crosswise pattern (to settle and align the bearing rollers).
Release inner slotted nut (13) and tighten again until it makes zero clearance contact with the pressure plate (12).
Release inner slotted nut (13) by 1/8 turn.
Fit locking plate (14) and outer slotted nut (15) using claw wrench.

Pull back wheel hub (9) and release tension using hammer blows.
Position dial indicator holder on wheel hub (9) so that the check pin of the dial indicator touches the front of the axle tube.
Check wheel bearing play by firmly pushing and pulling on wheel hub (9).
After correct adjustment of the wheel bearing play, secure the outer slotted nut (15) by bending a shackle of the locking plate (14).
