Adjust Concentricity Of Drive Flange - AR35.30-P-4671-01G

  1. Mark collar nut (2) and flange (1) relative to the pinion shaft.
  2. Release and remove collar nut (2). SPECIAL TOOLSPECIAL TOOLSPECIAL TOOL
  3. Pull off flange (1) SPECIAL TOOL

    NOTES Under no circumstances should the flange be removed with the aid of heavy hammer blows.

    Otherwise the bearings may be damaged.

  4. Check flange (1) for damage and score marks.
  5. Move flange (1) clockwise and install.

    IMPORTANT When offsetting for first time, install flange offset 180° clockwise. When offsetting for second time, install flange offset 90° clockwise. When offsetting for third time, install flange offset 180° clockwise. If the specified total concentricity value of <0.07 mm is not reached, the flange must be replaced.

  6. Screw on the old collar nut (2) up to the identification applied previously.
