	Remove/install
	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
	Risk of poisoning  from swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury  from skin and eye contact with brake fluid	Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.	AS42.50-Z-0001-01A

2	Remove front wheels
3	Support front axle
4	Unscrew brake hose (1)	The brake fluid reservoir must not be allowed to run empty. Dripping brake fluid causes paint damage. Otherwise difficulties may be encountered when bleeding. Seal off connections immediately using stop plugs. Brake line to brake hose	*BA42.10-P-1001-04B

5	Unscrew hydraulic line for differential lock shift cylinder	Seal off connections immediately using stop plugs. Record plug	Fig 2
6	Detach electrical lines (2) from holders
7	Unscrew nut (5) from shock absorber (4) Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
		Nut, shock absorber to front axle	*BA32.25-P-1001-01D
8	Lower front axle	Only lower the front axle until the front spring (3) can be removed.
9	Remover front spring (3)	Check plastic hose (6) on first and last coils of front spring (3) for damage and replace if necessary. Make sure that the front spring (3) is seated correctly.
10	Install in the reverse order
