	Dialing
1	Bring up workshop level on instrument cluster		AP00.20-P-0046A
2	Press scroll back button (4) repeatedly until "ASSYST PLUS" is highlighted
3	Switch electronic ignition lock control unit to position "2" (circuit 15)
4	Confirm selection "ASSYST PLUS" with OK button (3)	The tabs "Service data" and "Full service" appear on the multifunction display (6).
	Read out maintenance data
5	Select "Service data" tab and confirm with OK button (3)	Note down the workshop codes (e.g. 505) and the service code (e.g. A) that appear on the multifunction display (6) in the reception report. The codes are required for generation of the vehicle-specific service sheets in the WIS/MSS.
6	Press scroll forward button (7) repeatedly and read out remaining time, remaining distance and oil data record (e.g. 01 1F 00)	Note down read out data in reception protocol.
	Reset service data
7	Press scroll back button (4) to highlight "Full service" and confirm selection with OK button (3)	The current service items are shown on the multifunction display (6).
8	Press scroll back button (4) repeatedly until "Confirm Serv." is highlighted in multifunction display (6) and confirm selection with OK button (3)	The oil selection or "Service carried out?" appears on the multifunction display (6).
9	Select specification for engine oil used with scroll forwards button (7) and confirm selection with the OK button (3)	For vehicles with oil selection. In order to achieve the maximum kilometer interval, use and confirm engine oil as per Specifications for Operating Fluids sheet 229.5 for gasoline engines and engine oil as per Specifications for Operating Fluids sheet 229.51 for diesel engines.
10	Press scroll back button (4) until "Yes" is highlighted and confirm selection with OK button (3)	"Reset not possible" is shown on the multifunction display (6).
11	Press scroll back button (4) until "Confirm" is highlighted and confirm selection with OK button (3)	"Full service completed" is shown on the multifunction display (6). If the service is not performed or only partly performed after resetting the maintenance computer. ↓ Reset maintenance computer to default value again.
