Wipe operating fluids and other soiling from sealing surfaces with a lint-free dry cloth.
Spray Loctite 7200 onto the sealing surfaces and leave for approx. 10 to 20 minutes.
Observe processing information from manufacturer.
Remove dissolved silicone sealant from the sealing surfaces and wipe with a lint-free dry cloth.
Do not use sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper that would damage the sealing surfaces.

The sealing surfaces must feel even after treatment. The sealing surfaces do not have to be metallically bright; thin layers of firmly adhering silicone sealant may remain (see picture).
Thoroughly clean sealing surfaces with Loctite 7063 cleaning spray and blow off with compressed air.
Allow Loctite 7063 cleaning spray to flash off completely before applying new silicone sealant. Leaks can occur otherwise.
