	Remove/install
	Injury hazard from pinching and crushing, in extreme cases extremities can even be cut off when caught in windshield wiper mechanism.	When working on the windshield wiper mechanism, always switch off the ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m).	AS82.30-Z-0001-01A
1	Detach ground line from battery	Model 463 (except 463.234/236/241/242/248) as of model year 2013 up to model year 2019	AR54.10-P-0003GW

2	Remove cover below left of instrument panel	Model 463.234/242/272/273/348 as of model year 2013 up to model year 2019	AR68.10-P-1500GW
3	Pry wiper linkage (1) off wiper crank (2)	When doing so, do not bend or twist the wiper linkage (1). Damage is avoided in this way
	Risk of poisoning  from swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury  from skin and eye contact with brake fluid	Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.	AS42.50-Z-0001-01A
4	Unscrew nut (3) and detach expansion reservoir (4) from holder (6) and place to one side in vertical position	Brake fluid must not escape. Escaping brake fluid will result in damage caused by corrosion and decomposition.
5	Unscrew nut (5)
6	Push holder (6) with connected lines forward and secure with cable tie
7	Remove wiper motor cover cap (7) from wiper motor (M6/1)
8	Disconnect electrical connector (8)
9	Remove screws (9) and pull out wiper motor (M6/1)	Bolt on wiper motor	*BA82.30-P-1001-01B
10	Install in the reverse order	: Before the wiper arms are positioned, the wiper system must be switched on and then off again once. Here, the ignition must not be switched off until the wiper motor has come to a complete standstill.
11	Read out and clear the fault memory using Star Diagnosis

	Check
12	Check parking position of wiper blades	When in the parking position, the wiper blades must not impair the driver's field of view.
