| Remove | |||
| 1 | Remove door trim (1) from rear-end door (4). | AR72.20-P-6615XG | |
| 2 | Disconnect electrical connector (2). | ||
| 3 | Remove washer fluid hose (3) from spray nozzle of center brake lamp (E21). | ||
| 4 | Pressing on the outer end of the center brake lamp (E21), releases the center brake lamp (E21) far enough until the adhesive seam is accessible from the outside. | ||
| 5 | Lift up center brake lamp (E21) from rear-end door and cut through adhesive seam of center brake lamp (E21). | Cut through the adhesive seam gradually and carefully. Otherwise, the rear-end door or the rear window will suffer surface damage. |

| 6 | Remove center brake lamp (E21). | Replace center brake lamp (E21). | |

| 7 | Remove the adhesive seam residue and thoroughly clean the crosshatched area on the rear-end door (4). | The bonding surface on the rear-end door (4) must be clean, dry and free of grease. | 8 | Detach the protective foil of the adhesive strip from the center brake lamp (E21). | ||
| 9 | Position center brake lamp (E21) exactly onto rear-end door (4) and then press on all over. | The center brake lamp (E21) cannot be subsequently positioned. Otherwise, the center brake lamp (E21) will be damaged. All the clips on the center brake lamp (E21) must be latched into place on the rear-end door (4). Otherwise, the center brake lamp (E21) may not be correctly seated. |

| 10 | Attach washer fluid hose (3) to the spray nozzle of the center brake lamp (E21). | ||
| 11 | Connect the electrical connector (2). | ||
