Notes on level control:
- The pressure in the components or in the overall system may not be relieved by detaching or disconnection of pressure lines. The pressure may only be relieved using a diagnostic system.
- The area of the pressure line connections must be cleaned before starting the repair. Cleaning agents or solvents may not be used here.
- Open pressure lines and pressure line connections must always be sealed.
- For attaching and detaching pressure lines, only flare nut wrenches or special tools may be used.
- Removed or slackened off air springs may not be filled with compressed air or pushed together; irreparable damage may be caused otherwise.
- The air springs must not be twisted. Twisting results in formation of folds and thus damage to air springs.
- Observe the proper filling procedure when filling the air springs.
- The air springs must not be loaded through spring movements between installation of the air springs and filling of the system.
- The leaflet regarding the new air springs and the expiration date must be observed.
