Remove/Install Supporting Joint On Wheel Carrier - AR35.20-P-0116-01OLC

REPAIR MATERIALS

BR00.45-Z-1002-06A Anti-friction paste, rubber parts 2.5 kg, DBL 6867.00 A 000 989 01 60
  1. Pull supporting joint (7a) out of wheel carrier (7) using SPECIAL TOOL extraction and insertion tool (01).
  2. SPECIAL TOOL Remove extraction and insertion tool (01) with supporting joint (7a).

  3. Apply lubricant paste to boot of supporting joint (7a).
  4. SPECIAL TOOL Position insertion tool (02) with supporting joint (7a) at wheel carrier (7).

    NOTES Position the boot of the supporting joint (7a) completely in the thrust piece of the SPECIAL TOOL insertion tool (02).

    Otherwise the boot can be damaged.

  5. Pull supporting joint (7a) in direction of travel into wheel carrier (7) using SPECIAL TOOL insertion tool (02).

    The supporting joint (7a) is correctly pulled in when it is seated in the center of the wheel carrier eye (7b).
