	Risk of burn injuries  , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.	Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area.	AS49.00-Z-0001-01A

	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).
2	Remove center exhaust system.		AR49.10-P-7283MNF
3	Unclip temperature sensor upstream of gasoline particulate filter (B163/4) from retaining clip (1).
4	Disconnect electrical connection (2).
5	Unscrew nuts (3) at heat shield (4).
6	Remove heat shield (4) with gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3) downwards.
7	Disconnect electrical connector (5).	When replacing gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3).
8	Unscrew nuts (6).	When replacing gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3). Engine 276.8 in model 213 with code 598 (Gasoline particulate filter (OPF) with sensor system) Nut, differential pressure sensor to bracket	*BA49.10-P-1013-02G

9	Remove click clamps (7) at pressure hoses.	When replacing gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3). Install new click clamps (7). Position click clamps (7) in original installation position. Pliers for click clamps	Fig 2
10	Install in the reverse order.
11	Read out and delete fault memory.

	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
12	Perform engine test run and check exhaust system in terms of leak tightness.
