| 1 | Open engine hood | ||
| 2 | Remove upper engine cover | ||
| 3 | Release and disconnect electrical connection (3) at intake camshaft valve lift switching actuator (Y49/8) | ||
| 4 | Unfasten cable duct (2) on cylinder head cover and place to one side | ||
| 5 | Remove screw/bolts (4) | *BA05.20-P-1004-02K | |
| 6 | Remove intake camshaft valve lift switching actuator (Y49/8) upwards from mount on cylinder head cover | Replace sealing ring. |

| 7 | Install in the reverse order |
