	Remove/install
1	Remove engine compartment paneling	: Only install lower engine compartment paneling after a leak test.	AR61.20-P-1105LWE

3	Remove drain screw from oil pan (1) and catch engine oil in a suitable container Notes on engine oil and filter changes	: Replace sealing ring.	AH18.00-P-0104-01A

4	Remove bolts (3s)	Bolt, oil pan bottom section to oil pan	*BA01.45-P-1005-01T
5	Unfasten oil pan bottom section (3) from oil pan (1) and remove	Do not drive any tools between oil pan bottom section (3) and oil pan (1) to loosen them. Heat oil pan bottom section (3) in area of the sealing surfaces if necessary using a heat gun. The sealing surface will be damaged otherwise. : Apply sealant to sealing surface of oil pan bottom section (3). Sealant, Loctite 5970, 50 ml	*BR00.45-Z-1013-01A

6	Clean the sealing surfaces on oil pan bottom section (3) and oil pan (1)	Do not use any sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper. The sealing surfaces can be damaged otherwise.	AR01.00-P-0050-01A

7	Install in the reverse order

8	Check engine oil level and correct

	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. 9	Perform engine test run, checking engine for leaktightness and proper operation
