Drain/Pour In Coolant - AR20.00-P-1142MRH

WARNING Risk of injury  on skin and eyes by scalding with splashing out of the hot coolant. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant Open the cooling system only when the coolant temperature is below 90 ° C. Slowly open the lid and release the excess pressure. Do not pour coolant into drinking containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and protective goggles.

  Drain     
1 Slowly remove the cap from the engine cooling system expansion tank.    
2 Remove the lower engine compartment panels.   AR61.20-P-1105LWE
3 Slide a drain hose onto the fitting (1).    
4 Open the drain valve (2), drain the coolant and collect it in a suitable container. IMPORTANT Drain valve (2) only open until the coolant drains off.  
5 Close the drain valve (2) and pull the drain hose off the fitting (1).    
6 Remove the coolant hose (3) from the oil cooler (4) and collect the escaping coolant in a suitable container.   AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ 
7 Attach the coolant hose (3) to the oil cooler (4).   AR20.20-P-7441-01RQ 
  Pour in     
8 Add the coolant and bleed the engine cooling system.   AR20.00-P-1142-04OLC
Test pressure for pressure-testing the engine cooling system *BE20.30-P-1005-01A

9 Check engine cooling system for leaks.   AR20.00-P-1011OLC 
10 Install the lower engine compartment panels.   AR61.20-P-1105LWE
