| 4 | Clip charger positive terminal onto charging terminal point of engine compartment prefuse box (F150/3), then clip charger ground clamp onto ground terminal point (3). | ||

| 5 | Switch on charger | ||
| 6 | Charge on-board electrical system battery. | Charge the on-board electrical system battery using an approved charger only. The on-board electrical system battery is sufficiently charged when the displayed charging current is < 5 A. |

| 8 | Disconnect charger ground clamp from ground terminal point (3), then disconnect charger positive terminal from charging terminal point of engine compartment prefuse box (F150/3). | ||
