1	Move driver seat and front passenger seat towards rear
2	Disconnect battery ground line

3	Remove left and right front inner door sills
			AR68.30-P-4100LW
4	Detach door seals from entrance area at left and right
5	Remove bottom paneling for dashboard on driver side
			AR68.10-P-1501LWE
6	Remove left instrument panel cover
7	Detach left fuse and relay module (K40/6)
8	Remove bottom paneling for instrument panel on passenger side
			AR68.10-P-1502LWE
9	Remove left and right front door sills
	Notes on removing adhesive residues and foils on paint and metal surfaces with surface conditioning disks	Commercially available surface conditioning disk, Ø 100 mm with fixing shank. The left and right door sills are no longer required.	AH00.00-P-0013-01AK

17	Cover light sensor in windshield and perform function check on left front illuminated door sill molding (E17/47) and right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48)	The left front illuminated door sill molding (E17/47) is switched on by opening the front left door and the right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48) is switched on by opening the front right door. The left front illuminated door sill molding (E17/47) or right front illuminated door sill molding (E17/48) switches off automatically approx. 5 min after opening a door or after automatic shutoff of the ambient illumination.
