	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).
2	Release edge guard in the area of the cover (1).	:  Ensure that edge guard is seated correctly.
3	Remove cover (1).	Long wedge	Fig 1
4	Remove display module.		AR54.30-P-6023LWE
5	Unclip driver's side trim insert (2) at bottom over entire length.	Start to unclip in area of steering column

6	Push driver's side trim insert (2) to left and disengage from catch hook (3).
7	Disconnect light-emitting diode (5) from fiberoptic cable.	Model 213, 238 with code 877 (ambient lighting)
8	Disconnect electrical connection (4).	If installed.
9	Remove driver's side trim piece (2).
10	Install in the reverse order
