1	Pull lever (2) to release engine hood (1)
2	Press locking lever (3) upward and open engine hood (1)
	Move to upright position
3	Push engine hood (1) upward at center (arrow) beyond dead center position of engine hood hinges and move to upright position	The engine hood (1) is moved and held in the vertical position by the spring force of the gas pressure struts.
	Close
4	Press engine hood (1) down in center (arrow) and lock
5	Ensure that engine hood locks (1) properly
