3	Clean area around cap on brake fluid expansion reservoir (1)
4	Unscrew cap for brake fluid expansion reservoir (1)
5	Connect filler/bleeder unit to brake fluid expansion reservoir (1)	Pay attention to manufacturer's operating instructions. Brake fluid change unit with supply tank (10-20 l)
6	Remove the bleed screw on the left front brake caliper (2) and connect pressure tester (3)	Pressure testers (3) for hydraulic fluid systems must not be used for systems with brake fluid. Otherwise, the brake fluid will be mixed with mineral oil, which can cause brake failure. Pay attention to manufacturer's operating instructions. 7	Bleed pressure tester (3)
8	Switch off filling and bleeding unit and vent pressure
	Measure using pointer device
	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. 9	Allow the engine to run at moderate speed and release the accelerator pedal suddenly	In order to produce the highest possible vacuum in the BAS brake booster (A7/7).	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
10	Immediately press down brake pedal as far as possible and insert brake pedal jack (010) with adapter between brake pedal and driver seat	Cover brake pedal and driver seat in contact area of brake pedal jack and adapter. Otherwise the brake pedal or the driver seat may be damaged.

11	Read off and note brake pressure on high-pressure gauge of pressure tester (3)
12	Read off and note brake pressure again after 5 minutes on the high-pressure gauge of the pressure tester (3)	During the 5 min. duration of the test, the brake pressure may not drop more than 5 %.
	Measure using pointer device
13	Switch off engine and remove brake pedal jack (010) with adapter
14	Push down brake pedal several times	In order to reduce the vacuum in the BAS brake booster (A7/7).
15	Press down brake pedal as far as possible and insert brake pedal jack (010) with adapter between brake pedal and driver seat	Cover brake pedal and driver seat in contact area of brake pedal jack and adapter. Otherwise the brake pedal or the driver seat may be damaged.

16	Slowly turn back brake pedal jack (010) until the low-pressure gauge on the pressure tester (3) displays a brake pressure of approx. 3 bar
17	Read off and note the brake pressure after 2 minutes on the low pressure gauge of the pressure tester (3)	The brake pressure must not drop during the 2 min. duration of the test.
18	Remove brake pedal jack (010) and adapter
19	Connect pressure tester (3) to brake caliper (2) and screw bleed screw all the way into brake caliper (2)
