Remove/install left front or right rpm sensor - AR42.30-P-0712RK

NOTES Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts   AH00.00-N-0001-01A
REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Lift vehicle on vehicle lift   AR00.60-P-1000TX

REFER TO MAINTENANCE
Remove front wheel   AP40.10-P-4050EW
3 Remove fender liner of the front fender IMPORTANT Rear section is sufficient. AR88.10-P-1300RK
4 Disconnect front axle electrical connection, left distributor (X62/7) or BWI [BBV]/rpm right front axle electrical connection (X62/36)    
5 Unclip electrical line (1) from left front axle rpm sensor (L6/1) or right front axle (L6/2) at the line brackets (2) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Pay attention to installation of lines.  
6 Remove screw/bolt (4) and pull out left front axle rpm sensor (L6/1) or right front axle rpm sensor (L6/2) from steering knuckle (3) TORQUE SPECIFICATION Self-locking bolt, rpm sensor on front axle to steering knuckle *BA42.30-P-1001-01A 
7 Install in the reverse order    
8 Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out fault memory and erase if necessary   AD00.00-P-2000-04A
