| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Open trunk lid | ||
| 2 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key (A8/1) or KEYLESS-GO start/stop button (S2/3) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) | ||
| 3 | Remove trunk floor paneling (1) | ||
| 4 | Remove spare tire well panel | ||
| 5 | Disconnect electrical connector from charger feed socket (X58/23) | ||
| 6 | Release charger feed socket (X58/23) and remove it from bracket on rear center section trim (2) | ||
| 7 | Install in the reverse order |
