	Remove/install
	Risk of poisoning  from swallowing brake fluid. Risk of injury  from skin and eye contact with brake fluid	Only pour brake fluid into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing and eye protection when handling brake fluid.	AS42.50-Z-0001-01A

1	Eliminate vacuum in BAS brake booster (A77)	To do this, press the brake pedal several times with the engine switched off.
2	Open engine hood
3	Remove cover (1) over brake fluid expansion reservoir (2)
4	Suction off brake fluid from brake fluid expansion reservoir (2)
5	Disconnect electrical connector from brake fluid level switch (S11)
6	Remove bolt (3)
7	Detach brake fluid expansion reservoir (2) from master brake cylinder (4)	Seal connections on master brake cylinder (4). Foreign objects can otherwise enter the master brake cylinder (4) and cause damage. Replace seals (5). Record plug	Figure
8	Pull vacuum line (6) with check valve out of BAS brake booster (A7/7)
9	Label brake lines (7) according to connections
10	Detach brake lines (7) from master brake cylinder (4)	Seal line connections on master brake cylinder (4). Foreign objects can otherwise enter the master brake cylinder (4) and cause damage. Pay attention to the markings on the brake lines (7). Retaining screw, brake line to master brake cylinder	*BA42.10-P-1003-04L

11	Unscrew nuts (8) from BAS brake booster (A7/7)	Nut, master brake cylinder to brake booster	*BA42.10-P-1001-05K
12	Take out master brake cylinder (4)	Do not tilt the master brake cylinder (4); pull it forward and in a straight line out of the BAS brake booster (A7/7). Otherwise the push rod will be pressed out of its axial position. Replace sealing ring (9).
13	Install in the reverse order
14	Bleed brake system		AR42.10-P-0010RK
	Check
15	Check brake system for leaks		AR42.10-P-0100-01V
16	Carry out brake test on the test stand
			AP42.00-P-4290BA
