| 1 | Move Vario roof to assembly position | ||
| 2 | Press trim strip (1) downward toward outside (arrow A) with clip remover (4) and remove from C-pillar downward toward rear (arrow B) | Carefully remove trim piece (1). C-pillar (2) may be damaged. |

| 4 | Lay end piece of carrier foil (7) upward | ||
| 5 | Align trim strip (1) on C-pillar | ||
| 6 | Remove carrier foil (7) toward front (arrow C) and simultaneously press on trim strip (1) | Press trim strip (1) not too tightly to carrier foil (7) and remove carrier foil (7) carefully. Otherwise the carrier foil (7) can tear below the trim piece (1) and a new trim piece (1) must be installed. |

| 7 | Press on trim strip (1) with roller over entire length | Position roller flat on trim strip (1) below gap to C-pillar (2) and carefully press on trim strip (1). Otherwise the trim piece (1) can be damaged. |
