| 1 | Switch off ignition | ||
| 2 | Unclip cover (1) and remove | ||
| 3 | Unclip cover (2) with long wedge and take off | Fig 2 | |
| 4 | Unhook retaining clamp (4) a both sides of rain/light sensor with additional functions (B38/2) | ||
| 5 | Remove rain/light sensor with additional functions (B38/2) and disconnect electrical connector (3) | Do not touch surfaces (arrows) of rain/light sensor with additional functions (B38/2). Otherwise, soiling may cause the rain/light sensor with additional functions (B38/2) to malfunction. |

| 6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
| 7 | Connect diagnostic system and carry out initial startup of rain/light sensor with additional functions (B38/2) | ||
