Location 

The active transmission mounts control unit is mounted on the driver side behind the seat.

Task 

The active transmission mounts control unit has the following tasks:

• Reading in of sensors and signals 
• Evaluation of input factors 
• Actuation of components 
• Output of signals 

Reading in of sensors and signals 

The input factors are read in over the following connections:

• Direct line 
• AMG CAN (CAN AMG) 

Direct line 

The active transmission mounts control unit reads in the signals from the following components via direct lines:

• Left active transmission mount pressure sensor (Y124b1)
• Right active transmission mount pressure sensor (Y124/1b1)

AMG CAN 

The active transmission mounts control unit also receives the following information via the AMG CAN:

• Circuit status
• Engine running status
• Active transmission mount, request
• Mode, request

Evaluation of input factors 

The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.

Actuation of components 

The active transmission mounts control unit actuates the following components via direct lines:

• Left active transmission mount coil (Y124l1)
• Right active transmission mount coil (Y124/1I1)

Output of signals 

The active transmission mounts control unit also transmits the following signals via the AMG CAN:

• Status of left active transmission mount coil
• Status of right active transmission mount coil
• Signals of left active transmission mount pressure sensor
• Signals of right active transmission mount pressure sensor
