Location 

The sliding roof control module is located at the front left on the frame of the sliding roof.

Task 

The sliding roof control module has the following tasks:

Reading in of sensors and signals 

The input factors are read in via the following connections:

Direct line (internal) 

The sliding roof control module reads in the signals from the following sensors over direct lines:

Interior CAN 

The signals are read in by the sliding roof control module via the interior CAN. The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).

Evaluation of input factors 

The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.

Actuation of components 

The sliding roof control module actuates the sliding roof motor (A98/1m1) via a direct line.
