| 1 | Remove heat shield (1) of exhaust gas turbochargers. | AR09.40-P-6044MNJ | |
| 2 | Remove right high-pressure line (3). | AR07.03-P-1002MNJ | |
| 3 | Remove vacuum hose (2) from vacuum line (4) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs. | Fig 2 | |
| 4 | Unclip vacuum line (4) from bleed line (16) and place to one side. | ||
| 5 | Remove screws (15), remove bleed line (16), and seal openings with suitable stop plugs. | ||

| 6 | Remove screws (27) and remove cylinder 1+2 ignition coil (T4) in upward direction. | To reduce the draw-off and insertion forces, apply spark plug connector grease before installation of spark plug connector. Otherwise the spark plug connector will be damaged when removed again. |

| If damage is present: ↓ Replace cylinder 1+2 ignition coil (T4) and/or cylinder 3+4 ignition coil (T4/1) with spark plug connectors. |
