WARNING Risk of injury  caused by fingers being jammed or pinched when removing, installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/rear-end door or sliding roof. No parts of the body or limbs should be within the operating area when the components are moving. AS00.00-Z-0011-01A
WARNING Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolant spray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant. Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the overpressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

Notice  Notes on coolant   AH20.00-P-2080-01KOA
REMOVING Remove
1 Slowly open and remove cap from expansion reservoir (1)
INSPECT Check
2 Check coolant level and antifreeze content of coolant in low temperature circuit and correct if necessary FLUID SPECIFICATION Cooling system *BF20.00-P-1001-02U
3 Screw tester cap (2) onto expansion reservoir (1). SPECIAL TOOL Test cap Fig 1
4 Connect pressure pump (3) at tester cap (2) SPECIAL TOOL Pressure pump Fig 2
5 Apply compressed air to low temperature circuit for 2 minutes at the test pressure NOTES
Do not exceed the specified test pressure.
Damage can occur otherwise on the low temperature circuit.

IMPORTANT There should be no pressure loss within a period of 2 minutes.
Test pressure for pressure-testing the low temperature circuit *BE20.30-P-1001-01D
6 Perform a visual inspection on the assembly parts carrying coolant In the event of pressure loss
IMPORTANT Check condition and coolant loss for all assembly part carrying coolant and connections and remove coolant loss if necessary using suitable measures.
REMOVING Install
7 Actuate pressure relief button on pressure pump (3) and relieve the pressure SPECIAL TOOL Pressure pump Fig 2
8 Unscrew tester cap (2) at the expansion reservoir (1) SPECIAL TOOL Test cap Fig 1
INSPECT Check
9 Check coolant level and antifreeze content coolant If necessary
