Topical note	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)
2	Open stowage compartment under armrest
3	Unclip cover (2) at arrows (A), lift up at front and remove	Mounting wedge	Fig 2
4	Unscrew bolts below
5	Lift up cover of center console (1) at rear and pull out slightly to rear	Make sure that none of the adjacent trim parts are damaged, if necessary cover up trim parts with suitable means.
6	Carefully unclip control unit for upper control panel (N72/1) at arrows (B)	Make sure that the cover of the center console (1) is not damaged, of necessary cover up cover of center console (1) using suitable means.
		Mounting wedge	Fig 2
7	Remove upper control panel control unit (N72/1) far enough to gain access to the electrical connection	Do not stretch or kink electric lines. Otherwise they may be damaged.
8	Release and disconnect electrical connection from upper control panel control unit (N72/1)
9	Install in the reverse order
