The rear spoiler button (S193/4) is installed instead in the upper control panel control unit in the center console.

Location 

In Model 190.3 the upper control panel control unit is located above the electronic overhead control panel (N70/3).

In Model 190.4 the upper control panel control unit is located above the climate control operating unit (N58/1).

Tasks 

The upper control panel control unit performs the following tasks:

Reading in of signals 

Signals are read in via the following connection:

Instrument panel LIN 

The upper control panel control unit reads in function feedback requests over the instrument panel LIN. These are sent from the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).

Activity of the following functions is indicated by the corresponding light emitting diodes:

Sending signals 

Signals are sent through the following connection:

Instrument panel LIN 

The upper control panel control unit sends the function requests, that are triggered by pressing the following buttons, over the instrument panel LIN to the front SAM control unit:
