Location 

The AMG chassis control unit is mounted on the driver side behind the seat.

Task 

The AMG suspension control unit has the following tasks:

Reading in of signals 

The input factors are read in over the following connections:

AMG CAN 

The AMG suspension control unit also receives the following information via the AMG CAN:

Interior CAN 

The AMG suspension control unit also receives the following information via the interior CAN:

Drive train CAN 

The AMG suspension control unit also receives the following information via the drive CAN:

Chassis CAN 1 

The AMG suspension control unit also receives the following information via chassis CAN 1:

Vehicle dynamics CAN 

The AMG suspension control unit also receives the following information via the vehicle dynamics CAN:

Evaluation of input factors 

The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor whereupon the relevant signals are then issued.

Output of signals 

The signals are issued over the following connections:

AMG CAN 

The AMG suspension control unit also transmits the following information via the AMG CAN:

Chassis CAN 1 

The AMG suspension control unit also transmits the following information via chassis CAN 1:
