Rear Fender Complete Prepare For Installation - Ar63.50-P-1401-02RG

The following steps are shown on the new part on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Grind mating surfaces on rear fender (1) down to bare metal in the cross-hatched areas for adhesively bonded connections/weld joints.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces. Prepare welds by grind down to bare metal with stainless steel brush.

2. Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
