Prepare Mating Surfaces On Vehicle For Main Floor - Ar63.40-P-1180-19RG

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

Shown on model 190.4 

1. Grind mating surfaces for bonded joints on body down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

2. Grind mating surfaces for weld joints on body down to bare metal in crosshatched areas (areas a, b, c, and d).

   Prepare welds by grind down to bare metal with stainless steel brush.

3. Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
