Model 190
The following operation steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle. In case of damage, these steps must be similarly performed on the right side of the vehicle.
- Expose weld seams on outer side longitudinal member (1) and cut (areas A and B).
- Expose self-pierce rivets on outer side longitudinal member (1) and cut (areas C and D).
- Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
- Expose self-pierce rivets on outer side longitudinal member (1) and remove rivets with rivet press tool (area E).
- Heat flow-hole and self-tapping fillister head screws on outer side longitudinal member (1) with heat gun and remove (area F).
Flow drill screws and selftapping fillister head screws are bonded.

- Heat outer side longitudinal member (1) in cross-hatched areas with heat gun.
Cross-hatched areas are bonded with adhesive.
- Remove damaged outer side longitudinal member (1).
- Level mating surfaces on body in cross-hatched areas and grind down to bare metal.
Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces and weld joints.
- Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
