Outer Main Floor Panel Reinforcement Preparation - Ar63.40-P-1100-02RG

The following steps are shown on the new part on the left side of the vehicle and must be performed analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Grind mating surfaces for bonded joints on outer main floor reinforcement (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

2. Grind mating surfaces for weld joints on outer main floor reinforcement (1) down to bare metal in crosshatched areas.

   Prepare welds by grind down to bare metal with stainless steel brush.

3. Remove shavings using wet/dry vacuum cleaner.
