Cut Off Rear Fender - Ar63.50-P-1400-02RG

The following steps are shown on the left side of the vehicle and must be accomplished analogously on the right side in the event of damage.

1. Mark separating point on fender (1) according to picture and cut (area A).

   Do not make the cuts too deep. Otherwise the components below can be damaged and weakened.

   Dimension: a = 54 mm

   Dimension: b = 66 mm

2. Expose weld seams on fender (1) and cut (areas B, C).

3. Heat flow drill bolts on fender (1) and unscrew (area E).

   Flow drill bolts are glued.

4. Expose self-piercing riveting on fender (1) and cut (areas D, F).

8. Expose self-piercing riveting on fender (1) and cut (area K).

9. Heat fender (1) in crosshatched areas and remove.

   Cross-hatched areas are bonded.

10. Grind mating surfaces down to bare metal in the cross-hatched inner C pillar sidewall.

    Observe pretreatment of bonding surfaces.

11. Remove shavings.
